Exquisite and shiny whitish blue glaze – typical Jingdezhen work. The lid is embed with seven porcelain lotus seeds, all of which can rotate freely.
There is no particular functionality of the rotatable lotus seeds, other than decoration and a statement/show-off of the Emperor: “Look what my craftsmen can do.”
